Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Configuration Manager to join our dynamic team. As an IT Configuration Manager, you will be responsible for managing the configuration and deployment of all hardware, software, and network devices across our organization. You will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our IT systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the IT configuration management strategy and policies in alignment with industry best practices and company goals.
• Oversee the configuration and deployment of all hardware, software, and network devices, ensuring compliance with established standards and guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, and translate them into technical specifications for configuration management.
• Establish and maintain an inventory of all IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and network devices.
• Manage the release of new software and updates, ensuring proper testing, documentation, and deployment procedures are followed.
• Implement and maintain version control processes for all software and configuration items.
• Monitor and report on the performance and availability of IT systems and infrastructure, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for all IT systems and configuration items.
• Lead change management activities related to configuration management, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with configuration management policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT configuration management, preferably in a large enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge of IT configuration management tools and methodologies.
• Experience with software release management and version control processes.
• Familiarity with ITIL framework and IT service management processes.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
