Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Security Consultant to join our dynamic team. As an IT Security Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our clients in order to ensure the security of their IT infrastructure. You will play a critical role in identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities, developing effective security strategies, and implementing comprehensive security solutions to protect our clients' sensitive data and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments of clients' IT infrastructure and identify potential risks and vulnerabilities
• Develop and implement effective security strategies and solutions to safeguard our clients' sensitive data and systems
• Collaborate with clients to understand their unique security needs and tailor solutions accordingly
• Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing to identify and address any potential security breaches
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies to continuously improve our clients' security posture
• Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on security best practices and compliance requirements
• Conduct training and workshops for clients' employees to promote a culture of security awareness and compliance
• Assist with incident response and remediation in the event of a security breach
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is embedded in all stages of the development process
• Maintain documentation of security procedures and policies for clients' reference

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security, preferably in a consultancy role
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS
• Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners
• In-depth knowledge of network security, encryption, and authentication protocols
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to identify and address security risks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Proven track record of successfully delivering security projects on time and within budget
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and security trends
