Job Summary: As an Application Security Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating potential security vulnerabilities in our company's applications. You will work closely with our development and engineering teams to ensure that our applications are secure and comply with industry standards. You will be responsible for conducting security assessments, implementing security protocols, and providing recommendations for remediation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular security assessments on our company's applications to identify potential vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with the development and engineering teams to implement security protocols
• Provide recommendations for remediation of security vulnerabilities
• Monitor and analyze security logs to identify potential threats
• Stay updated on the latest security trends and industry standards
• Develop and maintain security policies and procedures
• Conduct training sessions for employees on security best practices
• Investigate security incidents and provide detailed reports
• Work closely with external security auditors and consultants

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in application security
• Strong knowledge of application security frameworks, such as OWASP Top 10
• In-depth understanding of web application technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
• Experience with web application firewalls (WAF) and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS)
• Proficient in conducting security assessments and penetration testing
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and remediation strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus
