Position: DevOps Manager
Location: San Francisco, California, United States
Salary: $209000 - $240000
Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Manager to join our dynamic and growing team. As a DevOps Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the development, deployment, and operation of our company's software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and extensive experience in managing DevOps processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement DevOps strategies to streamline and improve the software development and deployment process.
- Manage and lead a team of DevOps engineers, providing mentorship and guidance in their day-to-day tasks.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of software products.
- Collaborate with software engineers to identify and troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions.
- Develop and maintain automated processes for testing, building, and deploying software.
- Continuously monitor and improve the performance, reliability, and security of our software products.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps to ensure our processes are efficient and effective.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a DevOps management role.
- Extensive knowledge of DevOps tools and technologies such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Experience in managing and leading a team of DevOps engineers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
