Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of backend engineers to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers to understand project requirements and provide technical guidance and support
Design and develop backend systems, APIs, and data structures that support our web and mobile applications
Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions
Monitor system performance and make necessary optimizations to ensure scalability and reliability
Stay updated with the latest technologies, trends, and advancements in the backend development space and recommend improvements to our existing systems
Mentor and coach team members to enhance their technical skills and foster a culture of continuous learning and growth

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role
Expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
Strong knowledge of database design and SQL
Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, and containerization technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes
Familiarity with frontend technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
Proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions
Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Prior experience in agile development methodologies is a plus
