Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Warehouse Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing, with a proven track record of leading successful projects. As the Data Warehouse Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our data warehouse, ensuring that it meets the needs of the organization and its stakeholders. This is a leadership role that requires excellent communication, project management, and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of the data warehouse, ensuring that it meets the organization's business requirements and aligns with best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements for the data warehouse.
• Develop and maintain data warehouse standards and procedures, including data governance, data quality, and data security.
• Oversee the integration of data from various sources into the data warehouse, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Manage and mentor a team of data warehouse developers, providing guidance and support to achieve project goals.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of the data warehouse, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data warehousing, and make recommendations for process improvements and new technologies.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, communicating project updates, risks, and issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Develop and maintain data warehouse documentation, including data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, and system architecture diagrams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data warehousing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong technical skills in data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling.
• Proficiency in SQL, with experience in data warehouse platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or IBM DB2.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing solutions, such as AWS Redshift or Google BigQuery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in data governance and data quality management is preferred.
• Certifications in data warehousing or business intelligence are a plus.
