We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and operations, as well as a proven track record of managing successful projects and teams.

As a Software Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our software development department. This includes managing a team of developers, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of software developers and oversee their day-to-day activities, including task assignments, performance evaluations, and career development.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including product management, quality assurance, and infrastructure, to ensure smooth and efficient software development processes.
• Oversee the planning, design, and execution of software development projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any potential issues or roadblocks.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for software development processes, ensuring consistency and efficiency across projects.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting open communication and teamwork among team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall.
• Proven track record of successfully managing software development projects from conception to delivery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies, such as JIRA and Scrum.
• Advanced knowledge of programming languages and software development tools.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
