Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse
Collaborate with data scientists and business stakeholders to understand data needs and develop data solutions that align with business goals
Develop and maintain databases and data models to support data analytics and reporting
Perform data cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity
Monitor data quality and troubleshoot any issues that arise
Design and implement data governance processes to ensure data security and compliance with regulations
Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies and techniques to improve data processing and analysis capabilities
Communicate technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering or a related role
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
Experience with data warehousing and ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or Pentaho
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala
Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and data modeling concepts
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with large and complex data sets
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
