Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards in accordance with industry best practices.
Manage and lead a team of cybersecurity professionals, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify potential security threats and take appropriate actions to mitigate them.
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address any weaknesses in our systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security measures to protect our networks, systems, and data.
Review and respond to security incidents, conducting forensic analysis and providing detailed reports on findings.
Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to ensure our organization is always prepared and protected.
Lead incident response efforts in the event of a security breach, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Develop and maintain relationships with external security partners and vendors, as necessary.
Provide training and awareness programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.
Prepare and present reports and updates on the status of our cybersecurity operations to senior management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other relevant certifications.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, such as NIST, ISO, or COBIT.
Experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability scanners.
Strong understanding of network security, encryption, and authentication protocols.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and address security issues.
Proven experience in managing and leading a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
