Position: Cloud Data Architect
Location: San Francisco, California, United States
Salary: $247000 - $320000
Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Data Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based data infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our data architecture meets the needs of our business and aligns with our overall technology strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-based data solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and other documentation related to our data architecture.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of our data infrastructure.
- Establish and maintain data governance policies and procedures.
- Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance our data architecture.
- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers and data analysts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Architect or a similar role.
- Extensive experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Architect.
