Key Responsibilities:

Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of data center equipment and systems, including servers, storage devices, networking equipment, and power distribution units
Monitor data center performance and identify areas for improvement, implementing solutions to optimize performance and efficiency
Conduct regular audits and inspections of data center facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, working closely with other IT teams and vendors as needed
Develop and maintain data center documentation, including equipment inventories, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures
Conduct routine maintenance and upgrades on data center equipment, coordinating with other teams and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
Implement and maintain data center security protocols, including physical and logical access controls, to protect sensitive information and prevent unauthorized access
Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and execute data center expansion and migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data center technology, making recommendations for improvements and upgrades as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data center environment, with hands-on experience managing data center infrastructure and systems
Strong understanding of data center operations, including server administration, storage management, and network infrastructure
Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware and Hyper-V
Working knowledge of data center security protocols and best practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors
Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Server+, CompTIA Network+, and VMware Certified Professional (VCP), are preferred but not required
