Salary: $135 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Edge Computing Lead Architect to join our dynamic and innovative team. As the Lead Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge edge computing solutions for our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of edge computing projects and initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of the latest edge computing technologies and trends to identify opportunities for our organization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define edge computing strategies and roadmap to align with business objectives.
• Lead the design and development of edge computing solutions, including architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of edge computing projects, including project planning, resource allocation, and project management.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge in edge computing.
• Act as a subject matter expert on edge computing, providing advice and recommendations to leadership and other stakeholders.
• Oversee the implementation and integration of edge computing solutions, ensuring they meet the organization's security, scalability, and performance requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and emerging technologies in edge computing, and continuously evaluate and recommend new tools and techniques to improve our edge computing capabilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (7+ years) as a Lead Architect or similar role, with a focus on edge computing.
• Extensive knowledge of edge computing technologies, including edge gateways, edge devices, edge analytics, and edge storage.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing, IoT, and data analytics.
• Hands-on experience with edge computing platforms, such as AWS IoT Greengrass, Microsoft Azure IoT Edge, or Google Cloud IoT Edge.
• Proficiency in programming languages, such as Java, C++, Python, and familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering edge computing projects on time and within budget.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
