Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Operations Lead to join our dynamic team. As the Cloud Operations Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud-based infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud services, while also driving operational efficiency and cost optimization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, as well as exceptional leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of cloud operations strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the smooth functioning of our cloud-based infrastructure
• Manage and mentor a team of cloud operations engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions that meet business requirements and align with industry best practices
• Monitor and analyze the performance of our cloud services, identifying and addressing any issues or areas for improvement
• Ensure the security and compliance of our cloud infrastructure, implementing and enforcing security protocols and conducting regular audits
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to maximize value and minimize costs
• Identify and implement tools and processes to automate and streamline cloud operations tasks
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for our cloud services
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in cloud computing, making recommendations for new technologies and processes to improve our operations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools, such as Terraform, Puppet, or Ansible
• In-depth understanding of networking, security, and database concepts in a cloud environment
• Proven experience in managing and leading a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment
• Certifications in cloud computing, project management, or ITIL are a plus
