Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive cyber defense strategies and policies for the organization.
Monitor network traffic and security logs to identify potential security breaches.
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in the organization's systems.
Perform risk assessments and develop risk mitigation plans to protect the organization's critical assets.
Collaborate with the Information Technology team to implement security best practices, such as access controls, encryption, and network segmentation.
Develop and conduct training programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and raise awareness about potential cyber threats.
Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and threats to continuously improve the organization's defenses.
Respond to cyber incidents promptly and efficiently, following incident response protocols and procedures.
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of cyber defense procedures, incident response reports, and other relevant documentation.
Coordinate with external security agencies, law enforcement, and other relevant stakeholders in case of cyber attacks.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in a cybersecurity or information security role.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO, GDPR).
Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners.
Knowledge of networking protocols and security architecture.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
