Salary: $138 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Big Data Platform Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Big Data Platform Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's big data platform. This is a critical role that will require a strong understanding of big data technologies, project management skills, and the ability to lead a team to success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive big data platform strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of the big data platform, ensuring it meets the organization's business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop solutions to meet those needs.
• Manage a team of data engineers and developers, providing guidance, mentoring, and training as needed.
• Monitor and maintain the performance and availability of the big data platform, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the big data platform.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in big data technologies and make recommendations for improvements and enhancements to the platform.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to key stakeholders on a regular basis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in big data platform development and management.
• Strong understanding of big data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
• Proven experience in project management, with the ability to lead and manage a team to successful project delivery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with data governance and security practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest developments in big data technologies and a desire to continuously improve and enhance the platform.
