Salary: $135 Per hour

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Big Data Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a focus on managing big data projects and teams. The Big Data Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of various big data projects for our company. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business analysts, to ensure successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of big data projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and track progress against them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
• Ensure that project requirements are clearly defined and understood by all team members.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, and monitor their progress.
• Facilitate team meetings, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Conduct regular status meetings with team members to ensure project milestones are being met.
• Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on big data projects.
• Proven experience in managing large and complex projects from start to finish.
• Strong understanding of big data technologies, tools, and platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• PMP or other project management certification is a plus.
