Roles and Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the software testing team, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
Develop and implement software testing strategies and procedures, ensuring that they align with industry best practices.
Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and design test plans accordingly.
Conduct thorough and comprehensive tests of software applications, identifying and reporting any defects or issues.
Monitor and track the progress of testing activities, ensuring that they are completed within the established timelines.
Continuously improve and optimize the software testing process, identifying areas for automation and implementing efficient testing methods.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve any issues and ensure smooth and timely delivery of products.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in software testing and implement them in the testing process.
Act as a subject matter expert for all software testing related matters, providing guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
In-depth understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus.
