Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and design edge computing architectures that meet their requirements
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of edge computing technologies, trends, and best practices
Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions that will improve the performance and efficiency of our edge computing solutions
Design and implement robust and scalable edge computing solutions, considering factors such as security, reliability, and cost
Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of edge computing solutions with other systems and applications
Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to edge computing and ensure compliance in all solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to edge computing solutions
Document technical specifications and create user guides for edge computing solutions
Conduct training sessions for clients and internal teams on edge computing technologies and solutions
Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on technical and professional development

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing edge computing solutions
In-depth knowledge of edge computing architectures, protocols, and technologies such as IoT, 5G, fog computing, and cloud computing
Strong experience with programming languages such as C++, Java, and Python
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
Proficiency in network infrastructure and security protocols
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are a plus.
