Job Title: Software QA Engineer Lead

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $138 Per hour

As a Software QA Engineer Lead, you will play a critical role in our software development process by leading a team of QA engineers and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality. You will work closely with our development team to design and implement test cases, identify and report bugs, and ensure that all software is thoroughly tested before release.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to help them grow and excel in their roles.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Design and implement test cases that cover all aspects of functionality, compatibility, reliability, and usability.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and report defects and bugs in a timely manner, using bug tracking tools and processes.
• Continuously improve and streamline our QA processes and procedures to ensure the highest level of efficiency and effectiveness.
• Keep up-to-date with industry best practices, tools, and techniques to ensure that our QA processes are cutting-edge and in line with industry standards.
• Mentor and train team members on QA best practices, testing methodologies, and tools.
• Communicate effectively with team members, management, and stakeholders to provide updates on QA progress and to address any issues or concerns.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and QA methodologies.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
• Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
