Position: Cloud Security Specialist Lead

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $135 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Security Specialist Lead to join our dynamic team. As a leading provider of cloud services, security is a top priority for our company and our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our cloud security team and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our cloud-based systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of cloud security specialists to implement and maintain cloud security controls and protocols.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive cloud security strategy and roadmap in alignment with industry best practices and compliance standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends, threats, and vulnerabilities, and continuously enhance our security protocols to mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and operations, to integrate security into the development and deployment of cloud-based systems.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and address any potential security gaps.
• Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to identify and respond to security incidents.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines for cloud-based systems.
• Provide guidance and support to internal teams and clients on security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Conduct regular training and awareness sessions to educate employees on cloud security and data protection.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure the security of our cloud-based systems and data.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in cloud security and 3 years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing technologies, platforms, and services, such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• In-depth understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
• Experience in developing and implementing cloud security strategies and roadmaps.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate security risks and threats.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CCSP, or CISM, are highly desirable.
