Position: Cloud Security Architect Lead

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $135 Per hour

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Security Architect Lead to join our team. As a Cloud Security Architect Lead, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of secure cloud-based solutions for our company. You will also be responsible for ensuring that our cloud infrastructure is secure, compliant, and resilient to cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of secure cloud architecture for our company, including infrastructure, networks, and applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into secure cloud solutions.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards for our cloud infrastructure.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Design and implement access controls, encryption methods, and other security measures to protect sensitive data in the cloud.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
• Research and evaluate emerging cloud technologies and make recommendations for implementation.
• Lead incident response and manage security incidents, including conducting root cause analysis and implementing remediation strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in cloud security and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud security architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies and infrastructure, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards and best practices for cloud security, including but not limited to ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS benchmarks.
• Experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications, such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are preferred.
