Job Summary: As a Data Migration Specialist Lead, you will be responsible for leading the data migration process for our clients. You will work closely with our project management team to ensure that data is accurately and securely migrated from legacy systems to new systems. You will also be responsible for overseeing a team of data migration specialists and ensuring that all data migration projects are completed within the given time frame and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of data migration specialists to ensure the successful completion of data migration projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to understand project requirements and develop data migration plans.
• Develop and implement data migration strategies to ensure the accurate and efficient transfer of data from legacy systems to new systems.
• Identify and resolve any data quality issues that may arise during the data migration process.
• Ensure that all data migration activities are completed within the given time frame and budget.
• Conduct data mapping and data transformation activities as needed.
• Develop and maintain data migration documentation, including data mapping, data validation, and data cleansing procedures.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data migration processes to identify and resolve any issues.
• Train and mentor junior data migration specialists to improve their skills and knowledge.
• Stay updated with the latest data migration tools and technologies and implement them in our data migration processes for improved efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data migration and data management.
• Strong understanding of data migration concepts, tools, and technologies.
• Experience in leading and managing a team of data migration specialists.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in data mapping, data transformation, and data validation.
• Knowledge of SQL and other programming languages.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
