About the Role: As a Data Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the data team within our organization. You will play a crucial role in managing the data operations across all departments, ensuring efficient and accurate data collection, storage, and analysis. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and develop processes to optimize data flow and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of data analysts and administrators, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement data management processes and procedures to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and understand data requirements and develop strategies to meet those needs.
• Oversee data collection, storage, and retrieval processes, ensuring compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
• Monitor and maintain data quality, identifying and resolving data discrepancies and errors.
• Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to optimize data operations.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in data management and analytics, and make recommendations for implementing new tools and technologies to improve data operations.
• Develop and maintain data-related documentation, including data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, and data maps.
• Communicate complex data insights and findings to key stakeholders and provide recommendations for data-driven decision making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing data management processes and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of data privacy regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA, and experience ensuring compliance.
• Experience with data governance and data quality management.
• Proficient in SQL and data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
