Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement edge computing solutions to meet the needs of our clients
Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and network engineers to develop edge computing strategies and solutions
Conduct performance testing and optimization of edge network components
Monitor and troubleshoot edge network issues, ensuring maximum uptime and minimal downtime
Develop and maintain technical documentation for edge computing systems and processes
Stay updated on the latest edge computing technologies and recommend improvements to our existing infrastructure
Work with vendors and partners to source and evaluate new edge computing technologies
Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of edge computing concepts and technologies, including containerization, microservices, and serverless computing
Experience with edge computing platforms such as AWS Greengrass, Microsoft Azure IoT Edge, or Google Cloud IoT Edge
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Certifications in edge computing or related fields are a plus
