Salary: $171000 - $224000

About the role: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a QA Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services. You will be responsible for conducting thorough tests and inspections, identifying any issues or defects, and documenting and reporting your findings. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be key in maintaining our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, scenarios, and scripts for various software applications and systems
• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to identify any defects or bugs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and develop testing strategies
• Document and report any issues or defects found during testing, and work with the development team to resolve them
• Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure the product meets customer needs and expectations
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our testing processes and make recommendations for improvements
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in testing methodologies and tools
• Assist in maintaining and updating testing documentation and procedures
• Participate in the release process to ensure a smooth and successful launch of new products or updates

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and tools
• Experience with manual and automated testing
• Familiarity with Agile development methodology
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and document defects accurately
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• A passion for quality and continuous improvement

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with testing web and mobile applications
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
• ISTQB or other software testing certifications
• Experience with test management tools such as JIRA or HP ALM
