Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular audits of company data to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
Analyze data and identify potential compliance issues, and provide recommendations for resolution.
Develop and implement data compliance policies and procedures to ensure the protection of sensitive data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA.
Monitor changes in data privacy laws and regulations and update company policies accordingly.
Conduct training sessions for employees on data compliance policies and procedures.
Respond to data subject access requests and ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
Investigate and resolve any data breaches and report them to the appropriate authorities as required.
Work closely with IT and security teams to ensure data security measures are in place and functioning effectively.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of data compliance activities and reports.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, data management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in data compliance, preferably in a regulated industry.
Strong understanding of data privacy laws and regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of data management systems and tools.
Familiarity with data security protocols and measures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification is a plus.
