Job Overview: As an Edge Computing Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our cutting-edge edge computing solutions. You will work closely with our team of experts to build scalable and high-performance applications that will revolutionize the way our clients utilize edge computing technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, product managers, and data scientists to develop and maintain edge computing solutions
• Design and develop scalable edge applications using programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
• Optimize edge applications for high performance and low latency
• Ensure the security and reliability of edge computing solutions through rigorous testing and debugging
• Continuously monitor and improve the performance of edge applications
• Stay up-to-date with the latest edge computing technologies and trends and integrate them into our solutions
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Communicate progress and updates to the team and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, preferably in edge computing or distributed systems
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or C++)
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with edge computing frameworks like Apache Edgent or Eclipse Kura
• Knowledge of network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, MQTT, HTTP, etc.)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Team player with excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
