Key Responsibilities:

Advise clients on tax planning strategies to minimize their tax liability and maximize their financial goals
Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
Analyze financial data and documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations
Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to provide accurate and up-to-date advice to clients
Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide personalized tax advice
Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide proactive tax planning advice to clients
Collaborate with other team members to provide a seamless and comprehensive service to clients
Communicate complex tax concepts and strategies to clients in a clear and understandable manner
Represent clients in tax audits and assist with resolving any tax-related issues
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness of tax services
Mentor and train junior team members to develop their knowledge and skills in tax planning and preparation

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA or Enrolled Agent certification is required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax planning and preparation
In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with tax research tools is a plus
