Key Responsibilities:

Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with state and federal regulations
Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure appropriate medications, dosages, and directions for use
Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and provide recommendations as needed
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all record-keeping requirements
Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure availability of necessary medications
Perform medication therapy management and medication synchronization services
Provide immunizations and other clinical services as permitted by state laws
Ensure compliance with all pharmacy policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations
Act as a resource for pharmacy technicians and other staff members

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
Active pharmacist license in good standing with the state board of pharmacy
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist
Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards of practice
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in computer systems and pharmacy software
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Working Conditions: This is a full-time position that may require working evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. The pharmacist will work in a fast-paced, clinical environment and may be required to stand for long periods of time. The position may also require occasional travel between pharmacy locations.
