Salary: $114000 - $144000

Job Overview: We are seeking a talented Storyboard Artist to join our creative team. As a Storyboard Artist, you will work closely with our writers and directors to visualize and bring to life the story and characters of our projects. You will be responsible for creating detailed and dynamic storyboards that serve as a blueprint for our animated or live-action productions. Your ability to effectively communicate ideas through visual storytelling will be crucial in shaping the final product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with writers and directors to understand the vision and concept of the project
• Translate scripts into visual sequences through storyboards
• Create rough sketches and storyboards to present initial ideas and concepts
• Refine and revise storyboards based on feedback from the creative team
• Work closely with the animation team to ensure the storyboards are effectively translated onto the screen
• Maintain consistency and continuity in the storyboards throughout the production process
• Incorporate feedback and make necessary changes to storyboards based on director's vision and project requirements
• Meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality storyboards within the given timeframe
• Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve storyboard skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Animation, Film, Fine Arts or related field
• Proven experience as a Storyboard Artist in the animation or film industry
• Strong drawing and sketching skills
• Proficient in using digital software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Storyboard Pro
• Excellent understanding of composition, perspective, and shot framing
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Creative and imaginative mindset
• Attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines and instructions
• Portfolio showcasing previous storyboard work and strong storytelling abilities
