Job Title: Character Animator

Salary: $97 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Character Animator to join our dynamic team. As a Character Animator, you will be responsible for bringing our characters to life through movement and expression. Your expertise in creating believable and engaging animations will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality content to our audience. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, ranging from short films and commercials to video games and animated series. This position requires a strong understanding of animation principles, as well as the ability to collaborate with other artists and take direction from the creative team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality character animations that are in line with the project's artistic vision and style.
• Develop and refine character movement, emotion, and performance while maintaining consistency with the character's personality and design.
• Collaborate with the animation team, including directors, supervisors, and riggers, to ensure a seamless integration of animation into the overall project.
• Take direction and feedback from the creative team and make necessary adjustments to animations.
• Meet project deadlines and deliver animations that meet or exceed the project's quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve any technical issues that may arise during the animation process.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest animation techniques and software to continually improve and enhance the quality of animations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Animation, Fine Arts, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Character Animator in the entertainment industry.
• Proficient in 2D and 3D animation software such as Maya, Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of animation principles, including timing, weight, and movement.
• Ability to create expressive and believable character performances.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• A portfolio that showcases your animation skills and versatility.
