Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet operations and reduce costs
Manage a team of drivers and provide direction, training, and performance evaluations
Schedule and coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime
Monitor and maintain accurate records of fleet inventory, maintenance, and repairs
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to fleet operations
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate pricing for vehicle purchases and services
Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for increased efficiency and cost savings
Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to promote a safe working environment for drivers and prevent accidents
Manage budget and expenses related to fleet operations
Stay current on industry trends, technology, and advancements in fleet management to continuously improve processes and operations

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet management, preferably in a similar industry
Strong knowledge of fleet management software and systems
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to fleet operations
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
