Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Distribution Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Distribution Manager, you will be responsible for managing the distribution process from start to finish, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers. You will play a crucial role in optimizing our distribution operations and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and distribution, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement distribution strategies to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the distribution center, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
• Monitor and analyze distribution data to identify areas for improvement and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and coordinate production schedules to meet customer needs.
• Manage a team of distribution staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements in the distribution center.
• Maintain accurate distribution records and reports, including inventory levels, order fulfillment rates, and shipping and delivery performance.
• Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the distribution process, including customer complaints and inventory discrepancies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
• Participate in budget planning and manage distribution expenses to meet budget targets.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a distribution or logistics management role.
• Strong understanding of distribution processes and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proven track record of driving process improvements and cost savings in a distribution environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and distribution management software.
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements in a distribution environment.
