Position: Data Streaming Specialist

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $115 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Streaming Specialist to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Data Streaming Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our organization by analyzing and optimizing data streaming processes to ensure the efficient and accurate delivery of real-time data to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for working with cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand the data streaming requirements and design solutions to meet those needs
• Develop and maintain data streaming pipelines using various tools and technologies such as Kafka, Spark, and Flink
• Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of data streaming processes to identify and resolve any issues or bugs
• Monitor data streaming performance and ensure timely and accurate delivery of data to clients
• Identify opportunities for improvement and optimization of data streaming processes and implement necessary changes
• Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to integrate data streaming processes with data warehousing and analytics systems
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data streaming technologies and recommend new tools and techniques to enhance our processes
• Develop and maintain documentation for data streaming processes and ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations
• Train and mentor junior data streaming team members and provide technical support and guidance as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role, with a focus on data streaming
• In-depth knowledge of data streaming technologies such as Kafka, Spark, Flink, and AWS Kinesis
• Strong understanding of database management and SQL
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Familiarity with data warehousing and data analytics concepts
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of successfully delivering data streaming solutions in a timely and efficient manner
