Job Title: Infrastructure as Code Specialist

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $115 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure as Code Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an Infrastructure as Code Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing infrastructure automation solutions using various tools and technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of our organization's infrastructure and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code scripts and templates for automating the deployment and management of infrastructure resources.
• Collaborate with software development and operations teams to define and implement infrastructure automation solutions.
• Evaluate and select appropriate tools and technologies to support infrastructure automation initiatives.
• Design and implement infrastructure as code workflows and pipelines to streamline deployments and improve operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure automation processes.
• Conduct regular audits of infrastructure as code scripts and templates to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Continuously monitor and optimize infrastructure performance and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in infrastructure automation to drive innovation and process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Strong experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Chef.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or PowerShell.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent understanding of infrastructure components such as servers, networks, storage, and security.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing infrastructure automation solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
