Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced API Integration Developer to join our dynamic and growing team. As an API Integration Developer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining API integrations for our company's products and services. You will work closely with our development, product, and client services teams to ensure seamless integration of APIs and provide technical support to our clients. This is a challenging and rewarding role for a motivated individual who is passionate about API development and integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement API integrations for our products and services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions for API integrations
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for API integrations
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to API integrations
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for API development and integration
• Stay updated with the latest developments in API technologies and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization
• Provide technical support to clients and assist with integration-related inquiries and issues
• Work with third-party vendors and partners to establish and maintain API integrations
• Develop and maintain test cases and perform unit and integration testing of APIs
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve any issues related to data models and API endpoints
• Participate in the planning and execution of software releases and upgrades
• Ensure timely delivery of API integrations and provide status updates to stakeholders
• Adhere to project timelines and meet established deadlines
• Continuously monitor and improve the performance and security of API integrations
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers in the team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in developing and implementing API integrations
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and API design principles
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
• Experience with API gateways and API management tools such as MuleSoft, Apigee, or Kong
• Familiarity with API security standards and protocols such as OAuth and JWT
• Experience with API testing and debugging tools such as Postman or SoapUI
• Knowledge of database concepts and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
