Salary: $138 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Open Source Developer to join our dynamic team. As an Open Source Developer, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and contributing to open source software projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain open source software projects in a variety of programming languages, such as Python, Java, and C++
• Collaborate with internal teams and external contributors to identify project needs and requirements
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows industry best practices
• Review code contributions from other developers and provide constructive feedback
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing projects, and implement necessary fixes
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in the open source community
• Contribute to the open source community by sharing knowledge, participating in forums and conferences, and mentoring other developers
• Work closely with project managers to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met
• Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes and optimize workflows

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in open source development
• Strong understanding of software development principles, including version control, testing, and debugging
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C++
• Experience working with open source tools and libraries
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team environment
• Passion for open source software and a desire to contribute to the community
