Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to identify and understand key features for our products.
Develop and implement feature extraction algorithms and models using various programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
Utilize data mining techniques to clean and preprocess raw data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and correlations in the data that can be used to generate new features.
Create and maintain automated feature engineering pipelines to streamline the process of extracting and transforming data.
Work closely with our data infrastructure team to optimize data pipelines and ensure efficient data retrieval.
Collaborate with our product team to understand user needs and translate them into actionable features.
Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in feature engineering and data science techniques, and suggest new methods to improve our feature engineering processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in feature engineering or a similar role.
Strong programming skills in Python, R, and SQL.
Experience with data mining, data wrangling, and data visualization.
Familiarity with machine learning models and techniques.
Knowledge of data storage and retrieval techniques, such as SQL and NoSQL databases.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
