Title: Network Architect
Location: New York, New York, United States
Salary: $138 Per hour
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Network Architect to join our dynamic and growing team. As a Network Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's network infrastructure. Your expertise in network architecture will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's future and ensuring its continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define network requirements and design solutions that meet business objectives.
- Develop and maintain network architecture blueprints and documentation.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to improve network performance and security.
- Lead the design and implementation of complex network solutions, including LAN/WAN, wireless, and cloud-based networks.
- Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security measures.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Develop disaster recovery plans and participate in testing and execution of these plans.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network architecture and security.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network architecture and engineering.
- Expertise in designing and implementing complex network solutions.
- Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, and SDN.
- Experience with network security, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.
- Knowledge of cloud-based networking and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
