Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the development team to understand the functionality of our APIs and how they are used in our software products.
Write, edit, and maintain comprehensive documentation for our APIs, including API reference guides, tutorials, and other technical documents.
Ensure that all API documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and adheres to our company's style and branding guidelines.
Conduct regular reviews and updates of existing API documentation to ensure its relevance and accuracy.
Work closely with the product team to understand user needs and provide feedback on how to improve the usability and functionality of our APIs.
Develop and maintain a knowledge base of frequently asked questions and troubleshooting tips for our APIs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and technical writers, to gather information and improve the overall quality of our API documentation.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in API documentation and make recommendations for improvements to our processes.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in API documentation.
Strong understanding of API concepts, including REST, JSON, and OAuth.
Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear and concise documentation.
Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Swagger, Postman, and Git.
Familiarity with software development processes and agile methodologies.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Passion for creating user-friendly and easy-to-understand technical documentation.
