Salary: $190000 - $240000

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Streaming Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Data Streaming Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our real-time data streaming infrastructure. You will work closely with our data scientists, software engineers, and data analysts to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of data across our systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain real-time data streaming infrastructure to support the flow of data across our systems
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and data analysts to identify data requirements and implement solutions to support them
• Develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines, ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of data flow
• Monitor and troubleshoot data streaming processes, identifying and resolving any issues that arise
• Optimize data streaming processes for improved performance and scalability
• Conduct regular data audits to ensure the integrity and quality of data
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data streaming technologies and make recommendations for their implementation in our infrastructure
• Document processes, procedures, and best practices for data streaming to ensure consistency and scalability across the organization

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Streaming Engineer or in a similar role
• Strong experience with data streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka, Amazon Kinesis, or Google Cloud Pub/Sub
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
• Solid understanding of database structures, SQL, and data modeling
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and tools
