Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Lake Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Data Lake Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data lake infrastructure. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing data ingestion processes, managing data lakes, and ensuring data quality and consistency. You will work closely with our data analysts, data engineers, and data scientists to build a robust data lake that will support our organization's data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data lake infrastructure using industry-leading tools and technologies.
• Develop data ingestion processes to ensure smooth and efficient data flow into the data lake.
• Monitor data lake performance and troubleshoot any issues or errors that may arise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design data models that meet the business needs.
• Implement security and data governance policies to ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Develop and maintain data quality standards and processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Identify and implement strategies to optimize data lake storage and processing.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve the data lake architecture and processes.
• Document data lake processes, workflows, and data pipelines for future reference and maintenance.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data lake technologies and methodologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data lake development or a similar role.
• Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and/or Java.
• In-depth knowledge of data lake concepts, such as data ingestion, data storage, data modeling, and data governance.
• Experience with data lake technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, AWS S3, Azure Data Lake Storage, etc.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing data quality processes and data governance policies.
• Strong understanding of data security and data privacy regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
