Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with software development teams to identify areas for optimization and improvement in software systems and applications.
Conduct in-depth analysis of existing software code and identify potential performance bottlenecks.
Develop and implement optimization techniques to improve software performance, including code refactoring, algorithm improvements, and memory management.
Utilize profiling tools to identify and resolve performance issues in software systems.
Work closely with hardware engineers to optimize software for specific hardware architectures.
Design and implement automated tests to validate software optimizations.
Monitor and analyze performance metrics to track the impact of optimization efforts and make adjustments as needed.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in software optimization techniques and tools.
Provide technical guidance and support to other team members on software optimization best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Software Optimization Engineer or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python.
Proficiency in working with performance profiling tools and techniques.
Familiarity with operating systems, computer architecture, and system-level programming.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
