Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure smooth and efficient data flow from various sources into our data warehouse
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design solutions to meet business needs
Optimize data models and database structures for maximum efficiency and performance
Identify and troubleshoot data quality issues and implement solutions to ensure data accuracy and consistency
Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data security and privacy
Work closely with data scientists and analysts to provide clean and organized data for analysis and reporting
Stay updated with the latest data engineering tools and technologies and make recommendations for their implementation
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers and support their professional growth

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
years of experience in data engineering, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data pipeline frameworks such as Apache Airflow, Apache Spark, etc.
Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work with large and complex data sets
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
