Position: Data Engineer
Location: New York, New York, United States
Salary: $100 Per hour
Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Engineer to join our growing team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our company's data infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that data is collected, stored, and processed in an efficient and secure manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain our company's data infrastructure, including data pipelines, databases, and data warehouses
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and requirements
- Develop and implement data collection and storage strategies
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing regular data quality checks
- Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide timely resolutions
- Optimize data infrastructure for performance and scalability
- Identify and implement new technologies and tools to improve data processing and analysis
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or a similar role
- Proficient in SQL and experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
- Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools like Apache Airflow, Apache NiFi, etc.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and techniques
- Familiarity with data modeling, data mining, and data analysis
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills
