Salary: $152000 - $192000
Lobox is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Data Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing our company's data infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient and accurate collection, storage, and retrieval of data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to support data ingestion, processing, and storage.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to implement data models and algorithms for analytics and reporting.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from multiple sources into our data warehouse.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries, data lineage, and other documentation to facilitate data governance.
- Implement data security and access controls to ensure compliance with privacy and data protection regulations.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our data infrastructure.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging data technologies and best practices to drive innovation and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with data modeling concepts and tools.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing and ETL principles.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
