Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain data processing systems using Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design data pipelines that meet business needs
Build and optimize data models for efficient data processing and storage
Develop and implement data quality and validation procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrity
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
Create and maintain technical documentation for data pipelines and data models
Stay updated with the latest developments in Big Data technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems
Mentor and guide junior team members in data processing and development best practices

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing large-scale data processing systems using Big Data technologies
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala
Hands-on experience with Big Data tools and technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka
In-depth understanding of data modeling and database design principles
Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and ETL processes
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
