Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable, reliable, and efficient data pipelines for processing and analyzing large datasets
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Develop and maintain data architectures and data models to support data analytics and reporting needs
Design and implement data security measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality, performance, and scalability
Stay updated with the latest Big Data technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations for their implementation
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or a similar role
Strong understanding of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, etc.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala
Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and SQL
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment
