Job Title: Big Data Engineer

Salary: $107 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Big Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Big Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our company's big data infrastructure and solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement data solutions that will drive business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain our company's big data infrastructure, including data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop scalable solutions to meet their needs.
• Develop and implement ETL processes to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Optimize and tune data solutions to improve performance and scalability.
• Develop and maintain data governance and security policies to ensure data privacy and compliance.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the field of big data to continuously improve our data infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
• Mentor and guide junior data engineers and provide technical leadership to the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Big Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• In-depth understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration techniques.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database design principles.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or DataStage.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
