Job Title: Senior ETL Developer
Location: New York, New York, United States
Salary: $107 Per hour
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ETL Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior ETL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes to support our data integration needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient ETL solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes and data flows
- Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain data quality and data validation processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Optimize existing ETL processes to improve performance and efficiency
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Mentor junior ETL developers and provide technical guidance when needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in ETL development and data integration
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an ETL Developer
- Strong experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or DataStage
- Proficient in SQL and database concepts
- Experience working with large data sets and data warehouses
- Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing principles
- Familiarity with cloud-based ETL solutions (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
